Privacy Policy
Overview
We don't store your messages. Thread → LLM processes Slack conversations in real-time and immediately discards them. Your message content never touches our database.
What We Collect
- Workspace ID: Required for OAuth authentication with Slack
- User IDs: Temporarily processed during command execution to anonymize output
- Usage Statistics: Anonymous metrics including:
- Install/uninstall events
- Command usage count (no message content)
- Timestamp of interactions
What We DON'T Collect
- Message content: Processed in real-time, immediately discarded after formatting
- User names or emails: Not stored in our database
- Personal data: No profile information, no contact details
- Browsing history: No cookies or tracking scripts
Data Storage
- Installation Tokens: Encrypted and stored in PostgreSQL database (hosted on Railway) to maintain app connection to your workspace
- Usage Stats: Anonymized counters without message content or user identities
- Messages: Zero retention - never stored, never logged
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate Thread → LLM:
- Slack API: To fetch messages when you run the
/copy-threadcommand - Railway: Cloud hosting provider for our application and database
We do NOT share data with:
- AI companies (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) - you paste the output yourself
- Marketing tools or analytics platforms
- Advertising networks
- Any other third parties
Data Retention
- Installation Tokens: Retained until you uninstall the app from your workspace
- Usage Stats: Retained indefinitely (anonymized, no personal data)
- Message Content: Zero retention - processed in memory and immediately discarded
Your Rights
- Revoke Access: Uninstall the app from your Slack workspace at any time via Slack settings
- Data Deletion: Contact us at support@kamilbuksakowski.dev to request deletion of installation tokens and usage stats
- Questions: Reach out with any privacy concerns or questions
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- Encrypted database connections (SSL/TLS)
- Encrypted storage of OAuth tokens
- HTTPS-only communication
- No local storage of message content
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Thread → LLM after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
