Changelog

What's new in Thread → LLM. Reverse chronological — newest first.

August 28, 2026 — Open a thread straight in Claude or ChatGPT

New

You no longer have to select and copy the formatted thread yourself. The modal now has Open in Claude and Open in ChatGPT buttons — one click and the whole conversation is waiting in the prompt box, with participant names already replaced by User_1, User_2. Nothing is sent until you decide to send it, so you can read exactly what leaves your workspace first.

This works for long threads too. Previously those were the worst case: the text was pushed into a separate message you had to scroll to and select by hand. Now a fifty-message thread takes the same single click as a short one.

A four-message Slack thread showing the real display names of the two participants.
A thread in Slack, with everyone's real names.
The Thread to LLM modal with Open in Claude and Open in ChatGPT buttons, above the same thread rendered as markdown with names replaced by User_1 and User_2.
The modal: two buttons, and the same thread with names replaced.
ChatGPT with the anonymized thread filled into the prompt box, not yet submitted.
One click later — the conversation is in ChatGPT, still waiting for you to hit send.

June 4, 2026 — Welcome message after install

New

After installing Thread → LLM in your workspace, the installer now receives a direct message from the bot with a 90-second quick start and a link to a short video tutorial. Previously, new users had to figure out the next step on their own — which often meant the app sat unused. Watch the tutorial.
