Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Thread → LLM ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App (16 years old if you reside in the European Union), consistent with Slack's terms of service. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Description of Service

Thread → LLM is a Slack application that allows users to export Slack thread conversations into formatted markdown text. The App processes messages in real-time and does not store message content.

3. Use License

The App is currently provided free of charge for use in Slack workspaces. Paid tiers or premium features may be introduced in the future; in such cases, existing users will be notified in advance of any changes affecting their use. You may:

• Install the App in workspaces where you have permission
• Use the /copy-thread command to format Slack conversations
• Export and use the formatted output for any lawful purpose

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App to violate any laws or regulations
• Abuse or overload the service with excessive requests
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or exploit the App
• Use the App to export content you don't have permission to access
• Share exported content in ways that violate your organization's policies

5. Data and Privacy

Our data handling practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Message content is processed in real-time and never stored
• We store only installation tokens and anonymous usage statistics
• We do not share your data with third parties

6. Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice
• Update these Terms of Service. For material changes affecting your rights, we will notify users via reasonable means (e.g., email or in-app notice) before changes take effect
• Refuse service to any user or workspace at our discretion

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

7. No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Any errors will be corrected
• The formatted output will be perfect or complete

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Kamil Buksakowski shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Any damages arising from use or inability to use the App

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it and uninstall it from your workspace.

9. Termination

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Slack workspace. We may terminate or suspend access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason.

Upon termination, your installation token will be deleted from our database.

10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with and relies on the following third-party services:

• Slack: Your use of Slack is governed by Slack's own Terms of Service. We are not responsible for Slack's policies or actions.
• Railway: Cloud hosting provider for our application and database infrastructure.

11. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content (excluding user-generated Slack messages) are the property of Kamil Buksakowski. The formatted output generated by the App belongs to you and your organization.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Poland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your jurisdiction of residence.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kamil Buksakowski regarding the use of the App.
